Mechanism of Action:
Tramadol hydrochloride acts as a synthetic analgesic and its chemical structure is very similar to codeine and morphine. Tramadol hydrochloride, in the CNS (central nervous system), enhances pain tolerance and weakly binds to µ opioid receptors. It also blocks pain signaling impulses at the level of the spinal cord by inhibiting noradrenaline and serotonin antagonists.
